Hashing now works the same on 1.1.1 and 3.x, but but the new HMAC code does not work anymore on 1.1.1. |

This PR needs testing.
Compilation tested on Debian Bookworm with libssl 3.0.11-1~deb12u2.
The final goal is to fix #95
