Mobility testbed runs on any machine with Java Platform, Standard Edition 7 or higher. There are no OS restrictions.
Google Earth is needed to display visualizations, but not to run the simulations.
Simulations can run on a typical laptop or desktop machine. Hardware requirements depend highly on the implementation of your own algorithm, on the size of the benchmark scenario (number of requests and vehicles) and on the complexity of modelled area. For example, provided example algorithm used on Dublin scenario with 100 requests and 5 vehicles required 1.5GB RAM. On much bigger, real-world scenario with 10000 requests and 536 vehicles from San Francisco it required 7.2GB RAM.
