An app for a hair salon. The owner can add to a list of stylists, and for each stylist, add clients who see that stylist. The stylists work independently, so each client only belongs to a single stylist.
Clone this repository.
$ cd ~/Desktop
$ git clone https://github.com/annarbecker/hair-salon-java.git
$ cd hair-salon-java
Open terminal and run Postgres:
$ postgres
Open a new tab in terminal and create the hair_salon database:
$ psql
In psql run:
# CREATE DATABASE hair_salon;
In terminal run:
$ psql hair_salon < hair_salon.sql
Switch to psql and run:
# \c hair_salon
# \dt
This will list all of the tables in the hair_salon database
Navigate back to the directory where this repository has been cloned and run gradle:
$ gradle run
Open your web browser of choice to localhost:4567
Make sure you have Java and Gradle installed.
