Welcome to the CNVS alt wiki!

alt CNVS is a toolk to visualize data variants.

Copy Number Variation Server is a suit of database, web services and interface web. The database contains data generated from different clinical and Spanish companies and 1000Genoma of CNV.

As the database is concerned, this contains the following main features:

  • It contains only CNVs found in the Spanish population.
  • The data are enriched as the CNVs have noted the HPO associated with this.

By Computer Genome, CIPF in collaboration with CIBERER.

Architecture

The CNVS has the following architecture:

It consists of an own database where the data of the variants (CNV's) are stored. The CNVS are added through the web by different collaborators. These collaborators are validated previously by the CSVS project leader. A web is used to visualize the variants. The web, in addition to providing a graphical interface to show variants, enriches the information with annotations of the Cellbase database.
