About the pull request
Explain why it's good for the game
Our vendor point buy lists are currently very long, and partially filled with stuff thats only needed for niche builds.
Easily being able to give players choice paralysis, or just make it hard to find stuff.
We have REQ, Squad prep, and Medical for good reasons. Stuff thats too niche can perfectly well fit there.
Squad prep for the more semi niche stuff, and REQ n Medical for very niche stuff.
In my opion, point buy options should have broad enough of a use that its at the very least realistic for 1/4 of players to concider using them outside of trying out random stuff.
The support AGMs are one of these niche items. They can be very usefull in the right hands, but the majority of the playersbase are not those hands. So they they are gone from pointbuy (except Spec keep the smoke AMGs. That falls under spec ammo there. Im not touching that.)
In exchange there are more support AGMs everywhere else.
Squad prep gets hornet and star shells pumped up by 1, now being 1 lower then baton slugs.
REQ gets a lot more of em. Smoke AGMs are now 5, the same ammount as normal smoke nades.
Starshells go from 2-6. They are a sidegrade to flares, there shouldnt be so little avalibel of fancy flares that require a special tool to use.
Hornet shells just get bumped up one more compared to squad prep to 6. Should be enough.
Overall this should keep the support AGMs plenty avalibel for the people that still enjoy using them. In case of starshells even more avalibel.
While slightly reducing the lenght of our pointbuy lists in a nonharmful way.
