I may have interpreted your earlier question too narrowly, so let me clarify.
The correction was implemented in Python, so it should work across operating systems.

Regarding extending the fix to other device families: we currently support only three scope types, and this issue has only been observed with the 2000 series. Without access to additional models locally, it’s not only difficult but also risky to implement similar changes without proper testing, as it could introduce unexpected behavior.
If there are any further adjustments or requirements before merging, please let us know.

I guess I’ve only seen non utf8 encoding on Windows’s. So I’m curious how you ran into this.
