mind running npm run docs:generate just to update the built API docs? not sure if anyone's using this in practice but for the sake of completeness 😄 It will probably include changes from previous PRs that didn't run it but that's okay.
EDIT: tests need to be updated

Forgot to push these doc updates in my last PR. Just one small code change to add a
.codeto one of the errors.
