Materialdrain

Materialdrain is a modern Android client for Pixeldrain, built with Jetpack Compose and Material 3. It offers a native interface for uploading, managing, and viewing your Pixeldrain files.

Setup

  • Download and install a version from the github 'Releases' page. Link to Releases page
  • Create a new API Key in Pixeldrain. Link to Api Keys
  • Add the newly created API key to the input field in the settings page of the app.

You can find the settings page by pressing the cog icon at the top right of the screen within the app

After doing these steps, you should be able to see the files in the 'Files' tab of the app.

❌ Not Currently Planned (or Low Priority)

  • Nothing has come to mind that I definitely won't add

🛠️ Development Status

Every feature listed under "Available Now" or "In Development / Planned" in this README is intended for implementation and will almost definitely be implemented as long as pixeldrain remains a functional service.

PS. I will update the app whenever I am motivated, as I'm not in a hurry to finish this.

The app also needs some optimizations concerning the download and upload speed (currently 8-10MB/s, it's usable ~ 30MB/s, but it can definitely be increased.)
