Summary of Changes

Hello @0xh3rman, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request streamlines the justfile by introducing greater flexibility for Docker image builds and removing redundant configurations. The changes ensure that Docker builds can adapt to different platforms more easily and clarify the build context, contributing to a cleaner and more robust build system.

Highlights

  • Docker Build Flexibility: The build-base-image recipe now dynamically uses the DOCKER_PLATFORM variable for specifying the Docker build platform, enhancing cross-platform compatibility.
  • Build Context Improvement: The Docker build context for build-base-image has been updated from a relative path (..) to {{justfile_directory()}}, ensuring the correct build context regardless of the execution directory.
  • Unused Variable Removal: The BUILD_MODE environment variable definition has been removed, simplifying the justfile and removing unnecessary code.

🧠 New Feature in Public Preview: You can now enable Memory to help Gemini Code Assist learn from your team's feedback. This makes future code reviews more consistent and personalized to your project's style. Click here to enable Memory in your admin console.

Code Review

This pull request provides some good cleanups to the justfile, making the build process more robust and flexible by parameterizing the Docker platform and correcting the build context. The removal of an unused variable is also a welcome improvement. I have one suggestion to improve consistency with Docker caching across different build recipes.
