Junker der Provinz 👋

I build self-hosting tools for Unraid and Docker: own-image containers on slick KasmVNC web desktops, clean wrappers for upstream images, and native Unraid plugins. Everything ships through one Community Applications feed.

If something can be self-hosted instead of rented, I'll probably try to containerise it.

📦 Own-image apps

  • krusader — twin-pane KDE file manager on a fast KasmVNC web desktop, native dark theme, Kate + krename + RAR.
  • jdownloader — JDownloader 2 on a KasmVNC web desktop with a complete dark UI out of the box.
  • matrix — plug-and-play Matrix homeserver: Synapse + coturn + Element Web + Synapse-Admin in one container.
  • featherdrop — feather-light, login-free, end-to-end encrypted file sharing: drop a file, set an expiry, share a link.
  • bombvault — backup & full disaster recovery for Docker containers, KVM/libvirt VMs and the Unraid flash — one-click backup and automatic re-install, powered by restic.

🔌 Unraid plugins

  • smokesignal — pre-reboot health check: a single GO / CAUTION / NO-GO verdict so you never reboot into a known landmine.

  • openhands — open-source AI software-development agent, pre-wired for a local Ollama model.
  • standard notes (server · web) — self-hosted Standard Notes sync server + official web client.
  • n8n — workflow automation, every option exposed in the template form.

🛠️ Feed & extras

  • jd-plain-dark — a fully dark JD Plain theme for JDownloader 2 (no jar patch, no agent).
