The easiest way to get started is to run both the MCP server and assistant together using Docker Compose:
- Clone the repository:
git clone <repository-url>
cd DesignMCP- Set up environment variables:
# Create environment files for both services
cp mcp-server/.env.example mcp-server/.env
cp mcp-assistant/.env.example mcp-assistant/.env
# Edit the files with your API keys
nano mcp-server/.env
nano mcp-assistant/.env- Run both services:
docker compose up -d- Access the applications:
- MCP Server: http://localhost:8000
- MCP Assistant: http://localhost:8501

# Run in development mode with volume mounting
