This dashboard enables analysis of BootLoader data. Create filters by selecting event values and filter settings. Filters are applied to the event data, selecting and tallying events that match the criteria. Filters are automatically applied to the map and charts.
Filter settings affect how criteria are applied, and what data are pulled from the matching events. The Event Count and Event Percentages options update the visualizations based on the number of matching events. The Funding Amount and Funding Percentage options use the funding amounts within the matching events instead of event totals.
Choose AND to select events matching any of the criteria. OR selects events containing all of the criteria. (Note that since events can have only one value for any type, selecting multiple options from a singe type - e.g., both "Sports" and "Environment" categories - with the OR option will always result in an empty set of matching events.)
Select City or State to see the filter applied at those political entities. Cities are represented by circles centered on the city's location, with a radius representing the matching event count or percentage, or the matching events' funding amount or percentage. State's values are shown using a color spectrum, low values being grey, and high values blue.
If event percentages or funding percentages are selected, the city radii and state colors represent the matching event total or funding amount as a percentage of total events or total funding amount for that entity, instead of absolute event totals or absolute funding amounts.
Zoom the map with the mouse wheel. Pan with mouse drags.
Correlate the lower bar chart with map locations by hovering on the bars, or clicking on map locations.
