kPad Alpha 🌱

Welcome to the first alpha release of kPad 1.4.0! Keep in mind that this is not completely stable, and isn't meant to be used on a daily basis.

What's new in this release?

FastCommand

VSCode-like Command Palette, can be activated with Cmd+K / Ctrl+K

By default uses a orange accent and JetBrains Mono font. If the font isn't installed, then the default system font will be used. Also has integration with PluginAPI.

Tabs

Multiple textboxes into one window

At first start, please press the tab button, that will activate the tabs. Cmd+N / Ctrl+N for a new tab, Cmd+E / Ctrl+E to close active tab.

kPad 1.3.0 "Automaticis"

This release of kPad introduces its own URL protocol for installing plugins easily, and auto-updating (still in alpha). More details on the Wiki.
Warning! For Windows users, you need to apply the registry file (https://github.com/maxhatei2/kPad/blob/main/WPI.reg) for the URL protocol to work.

Windows binary has not been tested yet! If it does not work, please create an issue with the label binary fail.

ℹ️ It may start slower, because this is a minus when packaging Python apps. ℹ️
