You do not need technical knowledge to use DocMeld. This guide will show you how to get it running on your Windows computer.
Before installing, make sure your computer meets these needs:
- Windows 10 or later (64-bit recommended)
- At least 4 GB of RAM
- 500 MB of free disk space
- Internet access for downloading the software
- A PDF reader to open output files (like Adobe Acrobat Reader)
Follow these steps to download, install, and use DocMeld on your Windows PC:

- DocMeld will start extracting content immediately.
DocMeld breaks down documents in three steps:
- Bronze stage: Extract raw text and visible sections.
- Silver stage: Identify structured elements like headings, paragraphs, and tables.
- Gold stage: Add AI-powered tags and metadata, such as keywords, summaries, and topic clusters.
You will see these processed layers as you move through the menus.
DocMeld creates:
- Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)
- Workflows based on text logic
- Topic clusters grouped by theme
- Code snippets for Claude AI agents
