Тут и логгирование потерялось, и откуда-то коммиты слияния появились.
Цель ребейза -- избавиться от коммитов слияния.
В правильном решении в этом пулл-реквесте должно быть всего два коммита:
* 3821244 (HEAD -> mega-sorting) Make sorting more verbose
* 432b4b1 Use better sorting algorithm
