Changed in #89 as True/False weren't interpreted by the pilot mode toggle in Standalone, but writing True/False params as 1/0 in experiments makes the code less readable and could lead to unforseen problems in experiment, which is worse than a UI bug. Reverting here and then handling in the UI of Standalone.
