Summary

  • Fixed dual Oracle review findings (1 CRITICAL, 4 MAJOR, 3 MINOR) on the compression system prompt
  • CRITICAL: Rewrote agent results bullet — explained protected tools auto-preservation, removed "compress immediately" (contradicted pressure-based philosophy)
  • MAJOR: Added aging warning exception to DO NOT RE-COMPRESS section (resolves contradiction with nudge.ts)
  • MAJOR: Merged 4 redundant bullets (terminal/build/git/publish) into one
  • MAJOR: "Content needed in next 2-3 turns" → "immediate use is complete" (models can't predict future)
  • MAJOR: Build/test output keeps failure messages + file/line, not just verdict
  • MINOR: Added resolved discussion threads scenario + pending tool calls guard

Context

Iteration 3 of smart compression prompts. Previous iterations:

Verification

  • TypeScript: clean
  • Build: success (303.51 KB)
  • Tests: 386/386 pass
