This repository hosts the personal website and creative archive of Raven Indigo Carrigg, also known publicly as Raven Carrigg. Raven is a queer poet, systems thinker, computational artist, creative coder, computational modeler, and peer support specialist based in Portland, Oregon.
This site gathers Raven’s creative, technical, and lived-experience work into a public archive of language, number, pattern, survival, and systems. Across these projects, Raven explores emergent forms for tracing complexity, reclaiming voice, and shaping meaning at the edge of chaos.
This website serves as a living portfolio and public archive for Raven’s creative, technical, and peer-support-oriented work. It includes dedicated pages for Liminal Afterhood: Fragments from the Edge of Survival, systems and simulations projects, and Raven’s peer support values.
The site is organized around three overlapping areas of work:
- Language & meaning: poetry, archive, survival, metaphor, trauma-survival writing, queer/trans poetics, computational poetics, and symbolic forms for nonlinear experience
- Complex systems: creative coding, mathematical modeling, simulation, visualization, remote sensing, artificial life, cellular automata, terrain visualization, and computational experiments with emergence and pattern formation
- Peer support: lived-experience practice rooted in dignity, voice and choice, harm reduction, cultural humility, autonomy, self-determination, nonlinear recovery, practical support, and systems navigation
- Liminal Afterhood: Fragments from the Edge of Survival, an experimental poetry collection and trauma-survival archive
- Systems and simulations project archive, including computational art, artificial life, cellular automata, terrain visualization, remote sensing, biomechanics research, and complex systems experiments
- Raven’s Peer Values, a values-centered page about peer support, lived experience, recovery, dignity, agency, practical support, systems navigation, and the belief that no one should have to disappear inside the systems they are trying to survive
- Experimental poetry, computational poetics, language experiments, creative coding, modeling, visualization, and public project documentation
