StyleOS Protocol is an open protocol for AI-powered personal styling workflows.

What is StyleOS

StyleOS is not a consumer color test, a photo retouching tool, or an offline store management system.

StyleOS Protocol is an open protocol for turning personal styling expertise into structured, repeatable, product-ready workflows. It helps creators describe user inputs, style tags, rule cards, lite reports, and evaluation criteria in a shared format.

Creator Studio Lite

StyleOS Creator Studio Lite is a lightweight hosted workflow for styling, outfit, beauty, and image creators to collect fan information, tag user profiles, generate lite reports, and turn creator expertise into reusable services.

The GitHub repository is not a direct-to-consumer fan product. Ordinary fans use StyleOS indirectly through creators, studios, or small-B services.

Alpha Program

The Creator Alpha Workflow is designed for early creators to test fan intake, profile tagging, rule card selection, lite report delivery, feedback collection, and rule abstraction.

Fork and Clone Strategy

Protocol can be forked. The ecosystem cannot be easily forked.

StyleOS accepts that forks will happen. The project should win through brand, update speed, community, data feedback, Pro library, hosted service, certification, and expert network.

Hosted Service Boundary

The GitHub repository is the open protocol layer. Future hosted products such as StyleOS Creator Studio, StyleOS Cloud, and StyleOS Pro are commercial services and are not included under the Apache-2.0 repository license.

Seed Knowledge Pack

v0.1.2 adds a seed knowledge pack so the repository is more than standards and launch materials. It includes starter modules, starter tags, starter rule cards, synthetic cases, execution cards, and validation documents.

The current seed rules are starter content for protocol demonstration and community iteration. They are not expert-certified recommendations.

Hairstyle Module v0.2

v0.2 expands the hairstyle module into a deeper documentation pack:

• 40 hairstyle starter / unverified rule cards.
• Expanded hairstyle input schema, haircut taxonomy, length taxonomy, bangs taxonomy, layer / volume taxonomy, curl / perm taxonomy, and color-direction notes.
• Face proportion, jawline, cheekbone, forehead, maintenance, and constraint tags.
• 40-row hairstyle mapping matrix.
• 12 hairstyle synthetic cases.
• Hairstyle creator-kit templates and validation forms.
• v0.2 barber brief schema and execution card.

This version is documentation-only. It does not add an application, package manifest, runtime service, framework, dependency, real case database, or Pro-only logic.

• Hairstyle: v0.2 deep pack with input schema, taxonomies, maintenance and constraint tags, 40 starter rules, synthetic cases, creator workflow, and barber brief.
• Color: undertone tendency, brightness, saturation, contrast, scenario color, and color mapping.
• Outfit: silhouette, fabric, neckline, shoulder line, waistline, length, formality, scenario, and personal brand goals.
• Makeup: skin finish, eyebrow direction, eye emphasis, cheek placement, lip color direction, and camera look.
• Accessories: glasses, hats, earrings, necklaces, bags, and accessory visual weight.
• Scenario: daily commute, client meeting, interview, date, content creation, livestream, photoshoot, wedding guest, and public speaking.

Starter Rule Cards

The seed pack now includes 63 starter / unverified Rule Cards:

• 40 hairstyle rules
• 6 color rules
• 6 outfit rules
• 4 makeup rules
• 3 accessories rules
• 4 scenario rules

Each rule includes applicable conditions, recommendations, avoid notes, scenario, confidence level, evidence level, review status, execution notes, limitations, and privacy note.

Synthetic Cases

The seed pack includes 20 synthetic cases: 8 cross-module seed cases plus 12 hairstyle v0.2 cases.

All cases are synthetic. They do not include real users, real photos, real names, real contacts, real creators, or private service records.

Evidence Levels

StyleOS uses Evidence Levels to prevent starter content from being misread as verified knowledge:

• E0 Synthetic starter rule
• E1 Community submitted rule
• E2 Repeated creator observation
• E3 Expert reviewed rule
• E4 Data-validated rule
• E5 Pro model validated pattern

Most seed rules, including the v0.2 hairstyle expansion, are E0.
