• Change all default secrets in .env before deployment
• Use strong JWT secrets (minimum 256-bit)
• Enable rate limiting in production
• Configure CORS properly for your domains
• Use HTTPS in production
• Keep dependencies updated
• Review and rotate secrets periodically
