Did the linter job skip? I guess there isn't a diff to run against, but we should do some kind of dry run if possible to ensure the version is valid 🤔

Yes it skipped. Add .tool-versions to the file-patterns input and it will cause it to trigger in the future.

Edit:

For the /chainlink pr, I would add **/.tool-versions to the file-patterns input to trigger both core and integ-tests module.
