Initial Release v0.1-beta
GitClock transforms your spare Android device into a beautiful, always-on GitHub contribution dashboard. This initial release focuses on core functionality, OLED safety, and providing a premium aesthetic for your desk setup.
✨ Key Features
- Always-On Dashboard: Keeps your screen awake with a low-power, high-contrast interface.
- Real-Time Stats: Tracks your Contribution Graph, Open PRs, Assigned Issues, and Notifications.
- OLED-Friendly: "True Black" background mode to save battery and prevent light bleed.
- Dual Data Source: Works with public profiles (no login required) or private repositories (via GitHub Token).
- Custom Battery Styles: Choose between Classic, iOS-style, or Circle battery indicators.
🛠️ Beta Features
- Remote Web Editor: Customize your dashboard layout (drag & drop components) from your PC browser! (Enable "Remote Server" in Settings, then visit
http://<PHONE_IP>:8080).
📱 Compatibility
- Requires Android 12L or newer.
- Optimized for OLED screens.
⚠️ Known Issues
- The Web Editor is in early Beta; expect minor glitches.
- On heavily skinned Android versions (Samsung OneUI, MIUI), you may need to disable battery optimization for GitClock to prevent the system from killing the app.
