Overview

Welcome to the wiki for all technical, audiovisual work of the Walter J. Brown Media Archives and Peabody Awards Collection (BMA)! The purpose of this documentation is to inform and guide the work of the audiovisual technicians and other Digitization Unit staff of BMA. This includes digitization of analog materials, creation and tracking of metadata related to these materials, retrieval of previously digitized materials, file delivery, and equipment and object maintenance and repair.

History

This documentation moved to GitHub in May of 2024. Prior to that, it lived in one extensive Google Docs file created in March of 2020, but was rarely updated due to the static limitations of the host.
