The PandeCorp drone uses a three-state finite state machine:
PATROL ──(dist < 18)──► CHASE ──(dist < 8)──► ATTACK
◄──(dist > 22)── ◄──(dist > 11)──
Eye color indicates current state:
- 🟢 Green — Patrolling
- 🟡 Yellow — Chasing
- 🔴 Red — Attacking (fires every 1.2 s with spread)
The chiptune system schedules Web Audio oscillator nodes ahead of time for glitch-free looping:
Channel 1 — Square wave (lead melody) BPM: 158
Channel 2 — Square wave +7 cents (chorus)
Channel 3 — Triangle wave (bass line)
Channel 4 — Noise bursts (kick/snare/hihat)
The music auto-starts on the first user interaction and can be toggled with the ♪ BGM button in the HUD.
MIT — do whatever you want with it.
The system is watching. Are you ready to break it?
