First off, be sure to review the Contribution Guidelines in the CONTRIBUTING.md file. Then, to find your way into the project, we recommend some combination of the below:
- Look for open issues on our waffle board
- Check out the chat room and mailing list to see what we've been up to lately
- Peruse the wiki to familiarize yourself with the stack
- If you are new to React, we highly recommend the React Native Primer
- The Dev Glossary provides a nice overview of many of the tools we're using
- Once you start working, familiarize yourself with our dev practices before submitting a PR.
Regardless of how you find your way in, please always feel free to ask questions of core maintainers! We really like talking to new contributors! The chat room and mailing list are usually the best places to get our attention. :)
- Read our setup guide to set up your dev environment
- Read our testing guide to get your tests running
As always: feel free to ask questions if you get stuck! :D
