This is useful to represent objects or obstacles in the web map. The background map is expected in png format. A default "labyrinth" map is provided (png + svg source).
We could imagine that the ORCA algorithm also takes into account the map to avoid obstacles.
The background map is only available when using the REST variant of the frontend and only on large screens.
