PS 2 Player Cable Setup Guide

- If recycling a cable from a broken controller, or if using an extension cable, cut the cable 10-40cm from the plug.
- Strip 3-5 cm of the outer insulation sleeving from the cable
- Cut down the red wire
- Strip 5mm from the remaining wires.
- Crimp each wire with a female Dupont crimp in line with the Crimping Guide

- Place a jumper cap on row 18
- If not using a quickswap header, then on row 20, place the jumper cap across the two central pins (20B & 20C) of the row
If you are using a quickswap header, then use a jumper wire to connect pin 20B to pin 3A - Connect the green wire (Port pin 9) of the Player 1 cable to pin 5B
- Connect the brown wire (Port pin 1) of the Player 1 cable to pin 6B
- Connect the blue wire (Port pin 7) of the Player 1 cable to pin 16B
- Connect the orange wire (Port pin 2) of the Player 1 cable to pin 17B
- Connect the yellow wire (Port pin 6) of the Player 1 cable to pin 19B
- Connect the black wire (Port pin 4) of the Player 1 cable to pin 19A
- Connect the grey wire (Port pin 3) of the Player 1 cable to pin 19D
- Connect the green wire (Port pin 9) of the Player 2 cable to pin 15B
- Connect the brown wire (Port pin 1) of the Player 2 cable to pin 2B
- Connect the blue wire (Port pin 7) of the Player 2 cable to pin 13B
- Connect the orange wire (Port pin 2) of the Player 2 cable to pin 14B
- Connect the yellow wire (Port pin 6) of the Player 2 cable to pin 8B
- Connect the black wire (Port pin 4) of the Player 2 cable to pin 2A
- Connect the grey wire (Port pin 3) of the Player 2 cable to pin 19C or leave disconnected
- Connections should now resemble the diagram
