USB cable assembly

1. If recycling a cable from another USB power cable, or if using an extension cable, cut the cable 10-40cm from the plug end you would like to use
2. Strip 3-5 cm of the outer insulation sleeving from the cable
3. Isolate the inner wires from the cable and strip 5mm from each wire
4. Crimp each wire with a female Dupont crimp in line with the Crimping Guide

USB Power connection guide (LevelShifter Models)

1. Disconnect all 5V power pins from the Player 1 and if applicable Player 2 cable adaptors from the 5V input pins of the LevelShifter PCB.
2. Connect the red wire of the USB cable to a 5V power input pin on the LevelShifter PCB
3. Connect the black wire of the USB cable to a Ground pin on the LevelShifter PCB

1. [IMPORTANT] Unplug any wires from the system on the pins indicated with an X
2. If a wire is already connected to 19D, unplug it
3. Connect the red wire of the USB cable to pin 19D
4. Connect the black wire of the USB cable to Pin 20C, or any other free ground pin

Valid ground pins are: 2A, 3A, 5A, 6A, 9A, 10A, 11A, 15A, 16A, 17A, 18A, 19A, 20C
